JOB DESCRIPTION
Must be extremely proficient in Adobe Creative Suite : primarily Photoshop and Illustrator, along with knowledge of InDesign and Keynote. Experience with digital content such as websites, social media, online advertising and email campaigns would be a plus, along with basic animation skills and familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, HTML5 and web-development software.
Should be a disciplined and organized perfectionist taking pride in their work, able to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, take direction well and work closely with the team. Strong hands-on experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Should be process-oriented self-starter. Must possess a mix of technical skills and a deep understanding of creative Must be able to work quickly but also remain extremely detail-oriented.
- Assist design teams primarily in producing print, advertising and digital assets.
- Collaborate closely with creatives, art directors, and designers
- Prepare final quality assets based on supplied specifications
- Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production
- Provide image retouching, clipping paths and additional image manipulation
- Package files for release to media partners
- Create PDFs for print and client review
- Conduct QC checks
- Prepare images for various applications
- Catalog and reference art for future projects
- Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time
- Troubleshoot technical issues with assets as they arise
Professional Experience / Education requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in design is preferred for this position. Significant course work in graphic design, print production, visual arts or a related field, along with an strong portfolio and experience that demonstrates clear knowledge of print production and design, may suffice in the absence of a degree.
