THE TEAM
Ticketmaster Music is a passionate team dedicated to supporting the needs of the world's biggest touring artists (and their promoters, agents, and managers). Tasked with building Ticketmaster's relationships with the Artist community, this entails being on the pulse of where the business is moving through discussion with major industry players, informing the Artist community of the latest developments within Ticketmaster, assisting with the operations of events, acting as a resource to help maximize ticket sales and awareness, driving incremental revenue throughout the tour cycle, and understanding Artist needs and how Ticketmaster can serve them with new Products and Services.
Within Ticketmaster Music, the Global Pricing team plays a critical role – an invaluable resource for top tours to price their tickets to market and capture fair value on their events, ensuring we sell the right ticket, to the right fan, at the right price.
THE JOB
The Specialist, Pricing Operations will support the operations and management of events – ensuring successful setup and selling with respect to Ticketmaster Music's pricing initiatives. Working in a fluid environment, this role adapts to change and works with cross-functional teams to ensure the pricing workflow is optimized and stable. The role will learn the pricing needs of our clients and the music industry and be a resource for promoters and box offices.
This role will interact with the Pricing Tool, partner with others on the Ticketmaster Music team and other departments to support pricing initiatives, and work with teams building our tools to ensure our toolset remains at the cutting edge of the industry.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Assist with the operations process for events in North America – setup, troubleshooting, ongoing pricing, reporting, product, and settlement
• Help monitor major onsales and be a resource for Pricing escalations
• Help work with Customer Service on all matters pertaining to Pricing
• Assist in monitoring different product and programming escalations
• Build relationships with key industry stakeholders – Promoters, Agents, Venues, and Managers
• Run reports as needed and identify sales trends, anomalies, and other actionable data points
• Work with cross-functional groups, including - but not limited to - tour execution, marketing, finance, event operations, legal, product teams, data teams, etc., to initiate and execute ad hoc projects within the constraints of tight, and often fluid, time deadlines
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
• Proficient knowledge of the Ticketmaster Host system, event build process, and settlement
• Understanding of the business dynamics between venue, promoter and artist
• At least 2 years work experience
• Ticketing experience required
• Highly effective communication skills – written and verbal
• Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Salesforce, Airtable and PowerPoint experience a plus
• Internet and product savvy with strong research and troubleshooting skills
• Must be able to think through, evaluate and solve problems logically and efficiently
• Must have exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
