THE ROLE
Reporting to the CMO, the Show Marketer will act as a strategic partner in developing Veeps show marketing plans working internally with cross functional teams. Bottom line, they are responsible for elevating the level of service we provide to our artist clients and partners.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Develop and execute marketing plans in conjunction with artist & project teams
• Manage on-sale timelines in partnership with artist relations lead
• Work with creative team to manage development of creative and engaging content, including copy, visuals, and videos, that aligns with artist and brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
• Manage digital marketing campaigns for assigned shows across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, search, press, partnerships, and paid advertising.
• Cultivate & maintain relationships with external partners to provide excellent client services
• Analyze past purchaser data & use research tools to drive decisions & shape ongoing marketing strategy
• Collaborate with multiple teams to successfully execute strategic integrated show marketing campaigns
• Execute global and national promotions and oversee local promotions, both in support of individual shows and brand initiatives
• Oversee the planning of digital media campaigns across multiple platforms
• Coordinate the production of marketing assets including: audio & video spots, key art, social content, etc.
• Work with social media manager to concept and activate social media marketing campaigns for each show
• Effectively utilize internal marketing tools & resources, following best practices.
• Manage staff within show marketing department
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 5+ years marketing experience in live entertainment or industry related field
• Proven track record of outstanding client relationships
• Deep understanding of the live and streaming entertainment business
• Ability to clearly communicate strategic initiatives and navigate complex situations under pressure
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to professionally present pitches, marketing concepts and strategies to artist teams.
• Work well in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt, communicate and manage in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude
• Proactive work ethic
• Passionate about live experiences
EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE DESIRED
• Ability to recognize and define problems, collect information, establish facts and implement innovative solutions, tapping in key stakeholders.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite skills, Box
• Ability to learn and efficiently use project management software/tools – Asana knowledge a plus
• Experience with digital asset management systems and workflows
• Experience managing marketing budgets & campaign planning
