Job purpose
Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Senior Vice President of Global Solutions & Engineering. This executive role is pivotal in driving the company's technology strategy, overseeing the architecture and delivery of enterprise solutions, and ensuring the alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of delivering complex, scalable enterprise systems, cloud technologies, and security engineering, coupled with a proven track record of leading large-scale technology transformations.?
This role will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer. You will be a key member of our IT Senior Leadership Team and work closely with your peers to deliver on our Global Technology & Cybersecurity Strategy.
Role description
Strategic Leadership:
• Articulate a clear, forward-looking vision and roadmap for global solutions that aligns with Live Nation's business goals.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that drive growth and efficiency.
• Implement frameworks and ways of working to ensure regulatory compliance across all technology domains.?
• Manage the budget and lead annual investment planning for the function.
Solutions Delivery:
• Manage the solutions delivery lifecycle including business case development, agile delivery planning, business stakeholder management, delivery & financial management, proactive and reactive maintenance.
• Oversee the development and support of complex enterprise application and data platforms, with an initial focus on Salesforce & financial systems leveraging Oracle Fusion, OneStream, and Databricks.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, flexible and secure solution architectures.
• Develop & manage strategic technology vendor relationships and performance
Infrastructure Engineering:
• Partner with the CISO in driving measurable improvements in the cybersecurity posture.
• Partner with the SVP Global Technology Operations in continuously improving IT operations and services delivery
• Lead end-user, cloud, network, and security engineering teams to maintain robust and reliable IT services.?
• Manage cloud engineering efforts across multiple cloud providers to optimize cost, performance and resiliency.
• Lead the multi-cloud DevSecOps strategy to enhance software delivery and security practices.
Talent Development:
• Align with global sourcing strategies to manage IT talent.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the technology teams.
• Implement programs for coaching, mentoring, and professional development to build a high-performing workforce.
• Lead initiatives to attract and retain top technology talent.?
Essential Skills
• Minimum 15 years of progressively senior leadership experience in technology
• Minimum 5 years in leading complex technology-driven transformation programs in large, global organizations
• Demonstrated experience in developing high volume, consumer-facing e-commerce platforms
• Demonstrated experience in guiding highly technical development & engineering teams
• Experience in negotiating large third-party technology contracts and driving vendor performance
• Experience guiding compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements including SOX, SOC, PCI-DSS and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO27001)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex technology topics to technical & non-technical audiences at various levels
• Degree in technology or a related field
The expected compensation for this position is:
$298,000.00 USD - $373,000.00 USD
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
