THE JOB
Reporting to the Senior Director, PMO, this role will be a part of the Marketing Operations team within the Concerts division and will play an integral part in delivering projects critical to the success of high-priority Marketing initiatives.
The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering projects on time and within budget, communicating project status to both internal and external stakeholders, and collaborating with a range of technical and non-technical teams, regardless of geographical or organizational boundaries. We are looking for a passionate and proven leader with strong project management skills that has the ability to gain stakeholder buy-in, communicate confidently at all levels, and has an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Drive concept-to-market execution for national marketing programs (Concert Week, Summer's Live, Festival Weekend, Gifting) and partner with strategy lead to translate the approved concept(s) into channel-specific executional plans
• Own weekly meetings and interface with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional partners (including meetings with ticketing and community management) as the operational project lead
• Develop project plans, incorporating dates and times for decisions, and ensure milestones and deadlines are met
• Own CMS builds and updates for splash pages and microsites with daily updates when programs are live
• Drive the creative process for programs by defining timing of when all assets are needed with 3rd party creative agency, gathering asset requests, trafficking the release of assets to all cross-functional partners, and managing creative refreshes mid-campaign
• Lead project reporting and hindsight process, including partnering with teams to define the reporting strategy and gathering insights with key strategies, results, and learnings to build hindsight and executive recaps
• Proactively identify and communicate risks and work with the appropriate people/teams to develop and implement risk mitigation plans
• An innate ability to establish relationships and cultivate effective collaboration across wide groups of people
• Ability to run concurrent projects, partner with multiple customers, and build consensus and stakeholder buy-in
• Great communication that allows you to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical partners
• Be a collaborative leader, capable of driving internal and external stakeholders to consensus while balancing product/technology needs with longer-term relationship objective
• Quick learner with the ability to interpret business challenges, create process mapping, analyze potential improvements and translate these into best practices and solutions
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 7+ years of experience delivering marketing programs (with familiarity in trafficking media assets) of medium to high complexity in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in live entertainment and ticketing preferred but not required
• Demonstrated leadership and experience with large-scale, complex, cross-discipline projects, including scope definition, schedule development and management, communications and stakeholder engagement activities, and rollout
• Background and proven track record as a senior level project/program manager and has experience interacting with senior-level business stakeholders
• Self-motivated and able to manage and adapt to competing priorities with no supervisory input
• Motivates and manages teams to consistently deliver high-quality projects on-time and within budget
• Independent worker that can operate amongst geographically dispersed teams
• Resourceful and constructive thinker, able to problem solve, pivot, and navigate uncertainty to find solutions
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills along with interpersonal and influencing skills (at all levels internally, externally and cross-functionally)
• Strong planning and organizational skills with an ability to efficiently manage fast-paced demands
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
