THE ROLE
The Senior Manager of Development will manage the development slate for scripted and unscripted TV and film projects. This position will also build and maintain working relationships with music industry professionals to foster new and ongoing creative connections with artists to develop new projects.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Work closely with the EVP of Live Nation Productions and VP of Development to strategize, create, track and evaluate all incoming creative material including pitches, scripts and books.
• Identify and recommend writers, directors and producers
• Manage incoming submissions
• Develop internal ideas into pitch decks and presentations
• Organize the process of both incoming pitches and internal development endeavors
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Film, Entertainment, Business, Music, Marketing or related subject
• 4+ years' relevant experience in film and/or television industry; previous experience working in the intersection of music x film x television preferred
• Previous experience from streaming channel nice to have
• Experience working with producers, talent agents and directors
• Self-starter who can manage and successfully complete projects with minimal supervision;
• Ability to work independently and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment;
• Team player with flexibility to accommodate different personalities and work styles;
• Strong organizational skills, work ethic, initiative, sense of urgency and attention to detail.
