About the Role
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) provides leadership for the Design team, Construction team, and local business unit. The SPM is actively involved in due diligence, consultant engagement, material procurement, permitting, contractor awards, and full project oversight.
The SPM oversees project budgets, schedules, contractor payments, change orders, claims, and inspections for conformance to design requirements. This role is responsible for projects during the pre-construction, construction, and close-out phases, with support from senior management in Physical Plants / Design and Construction.
Projects managed end-to-end will range from $250K to $5M+ per project.
In addition to managing assigned projects, the SPM will work closely with venue General Managers (GMs), overseeing smaller projects. Responsibilities include assessing requests, monitoring project progress, and assisting with technical construction matters including contractor payments, change orders, claims, and inspection for conformance to design requirements.
The SPM reports to the Head of Construction Management and interfaces frequently to develop and implement capital improvement efforts across venues nationwide.
Prior experience managing construction projects $4M+ end-to-end is required. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
This role requires approximately 50%-70% travel to project sites across the United States. Proximity to a major airport is preferred for remote candidates.

What This Role Will Do
* Manage and supervise all phases of assigned construction projects at Live Nation owned and operated venues
* Prepare and manage construction schedules
* Prepare and manage project budgets; approve project expenses
* Select and manage general contractors and subcontractors
* Utilize project management software to assemble and maintain complete project records and close-out documentation
* Perform project punch-list inspections and follow-ups
* Work in conjunction with venue GMs, local operations teams, and line of business leaders (e.g., food & beverage, premium seating)
* Assist the Head of Construction Management in gathering and prioritizing capital improvement requests from venue GMs

What This Person Will Bring
* Strong practical knowledge of construction concepts
* Demonstrated experience with construction project management
* Prior experience managing construction projects $4M+ including cost estimation and negotiation
* Proven ability to establish timelines and budgets with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
* Experience with Bid Packages, Award Phase, Contract Administration and Coordination, Construction Phase, Cost Reports, Permits, and Building Codes
* Strong track record managing subcontractors and general contractors
* Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Proficiency with Microsoft Project (or other project management software); CAD preferred
* Ability to multi-task, remain highly organized, and work with minimal supervision
* Team-oriented with the ability to lead productive, multi-discipline meetings
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
