This is a Part Time Paid Internship
LOCATION: Los Angeles preferred but remote is acceptable, needs to work on Pacific coast time (available for meetings from 9 am to 4 pm pacific time)

THE TEAM
We are excited about music, live entertainment, marketing, data, and technology. We are driven by a passion to understand the root causes of complicated problems and partner with stakeholders to discover and implement solutions. Most of us had no previous experience working in music -- just a shared excitement about the space, a willingness to go to concerts / venues / festivals when needed as part of the job, and a desire to go to concerts / venues / festivals in our free time, too.
The Marketing Insights and Data Analytics Services team within the Marketing & Data Strategy organization works on projects across all divisions, to develop insights around Fans and Marketing programs. These insights are used to inspire new marketing programs and improve existing marketing efforts across Concerts, Ticketmaster, and Sponsorship business units. We are also responsible for quantifying the value of our marketing efforts through our test and learn program, incrementality testing and attribution thought leadership.
THE ROLE
The Marketing Analytics Intern will work alongside a team who is reporting out on media campaigns and tactics for Live Nation in North America.
This position will involve reporting, documentation, story-telling, and some data visualization.
The ideal candidate will be curious and data-savvy, and have an interest in marketing, data, and the live events business.
This person will report to the Manager, Marketing Analytics.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Assist in the creation of reports that detail performance of various concert's marketing campaigns
• Conduct QA of data sources and dashboards to proactively uncover potential issues
• Assist in the creation of data visualization dashboards
• Perform exploratory and ad hoc analysis on diverse data sets, bringing forth new ideas and learnings to the group
• Provide operational support to the marketing team by creating tracked links and QR codes
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Current college student or recent graduate.
• Knowledge and/or interest in the music industry.
• Some knowledge of marketing concepts and digital marketing channels.
• Advanced writing skills, ability to organize and distil complicated topics to accessible summaries.
• Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, debug formulas, pivot tables).
• Some experience with data visualization tools like Domo, Looker, Tableau preferred.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments and functions.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$16.00 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly
