THE ROLE
Emo Nite is looking for a highly motivated and proactive intern to join the marketing team in Calabasas, CA. This position will be a hands-on experience in an exciting, fast-paced, setting. This is not a remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assisting marketing coordinator in creation of social calendar by researching current social media trends, finding content, and posting when directed
• Assisting Graveboy Records team in organizing assets needed for releases.
• Assisting Graveboy Records team with creation of release roll out docs
• Assisting marketing team in capturing Instagram story content on site at Emo Nite events in Los Angeles and capturing other content for use on social media
• Maintaining database of Emo Nite photo archive, including overall file organization, as well as posting photos weekly to Facebook and creating albums for selects, guest artists, and other relevant constituencies
• Aggregate information used to create content for Emo Nite digital outlets, i.e. Emo Nite Radio and Emo Nite's social pages
• Maintain Emo Nite's presence on Facebook and Bandsintown by constantly reviewing and updating event pages and relevant information
• Assist onsite at Emo Nite events where needed
• Assist with other duties as assigned including occasional errands.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Knowledge and interest in music industry ,emo music, and Emo Nite's brand
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments and functions
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have valid drivers' license and vehicle
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments in dynamic work locations
• May work in drastic temperature climates while on site at events
• Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines

The expected compensation for this position in California is:
$16.90 USD - $16.90 USD Hourly
