THE JOB
The Onsite Product Ancillary drives execution of ancillary revenue programs at the venue level. This role focuses on maximizing onsite conversion, optimizing sales staffing models, and ensuring seamless launch of ancillary programs in new or renovated venues, including but not limited to Premier Parking, Fast Lane, VIP Club/Lounge, Future Ticket Sales, On Site seating upgrades, and other ancillary revenue upsells as assigned. Onsite Product Manager will oversee both indoor and outdoor venues across the country ensuring that consistent guidelines and best practices are followed to drive ancillary revenue sales.
THE ROLE
• Oversee onsite sales execution across all ancillary products including clubs, parking, fast lane, future ticket sales, upgrades, camping, and related offerings
• Develop staffing models and manage ancillary product managers
• Build training programs, scripting, and sales incentives
• Implement and optimize sales technology (POS, handheld devices, QR upsells, signage strategy)
• Lead operational readiness for new venues and major renovations
• Partner with GMs to identify new revenue opportunities and remove operational bottlenecks
• Oversee Ancillary Product Manager & Venue Ancillary Managers
• Upsell Management- The Onsite Manager will be trained in the use of Ticketmaster to assist with special projects & new TM initiatives, including but not limited to Premier Parking, VIP Club/Lounge, Bundled Packages, and other Ancillary products.
• The Onsite Manager will be responsible for creatively finding new revenue streams for Venue Nation facilities.
• The Onsite Manager will work with the Ancillary Revenue Manager, General Managers and national venue marketing team to drive meaningful upsells onsite at venues.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Working knowledge of local and regional markets, concerts operations, computers (Windows environment, spreadsheet, databases, word processing) and guest relations.
• Skilled in interpersonal communications, organizational concepts and financial knowledge.
• Ability to delegate, follow up, relate to staff and guests and clients in a positive effective manner.
• Three to five years of experience in the concert industry.
• Ability to walk and stand for long period of time.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds.
• Flexible Schedule (days/nights, weekends).
• High school diploma required.
