WHO ARE WE?
THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Marketing Coordinator to lead our company's social media initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social media trends, content creation, music marketing, and community engagement. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. This position reports to the Marketing Manager. The role requires frequent travel to on-site event locations and is not a remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and manage a comprehensive social media calendar for Emo Nite, Grave Rave, Graveboy Records, and CD Burners, including post scheduling, community management, and engagement across various platforms
• Stay abreast of current trends on TikTok and other social media platforms, and creatively integrate the brand into relevant cultural conversations
• Foster a positive online community by engaging with comments, monitoring inboxes and direct messages, reposting user-generated content, and promoting a welcoming environment for our audience
• Assist Marketing Manager in distributing marketing plans and materials for Emo Nite events to promoters and artists, ensuring successful event promotion
• Design and execute email and text campaigns to enhance Emo Nite event visibility and attendance
• Assist in updating marketing assets when needed (for example refreshing/changing dates, guest artists, announces, etc)
• Monitor ticket sales, develop targeted paid advertisements, and implement digital marketing strategies to boost event performance.
• Assist onsite at events when needed
• Assist with occasional errands
• All other projects and initiatives as identified
QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven experience in social media coordination, marketing, or a related field
• Strong understanding of current social media trends and platforms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Creative problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Excellent organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Knowledge of the principles of experiential marketing and live event production
• Lives and breathes social media, up-to-date with the latest trends and meme/internet culture
• Functional knowledge of digital marketing and social media and proven ability to accomplish successful content strategies
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent software, and Creative Cloud (strong in photoshop and illustrator), Canva, and CapCut
• All other projects and initiatives as identified
• Must have a valid Driver's License
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments in dynamic work locations
• May work in drastic temperature climates while on site at events
• Must be willing to travel to work on site during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
