THE JOB
TourDesign Creative is an entity of Live Nation. At our offices in Indianapolis & Los Angeles, we deal with creating key art for various concerts, performances, tours, etc. throughout the world for the entertainment industry. Our graphic designers work closely as a team and with the Art Director on nearly all projects. Typically our team is tasked with creating original art based on provided instructions and materials, and transforming approved art into working templates, tour posters, and banner sets for national campaigns. This role not only takes tasks and projects through successful completion, but also diagnoses issues and proposes viable solutions. This role excels at time management and has a firm understanding of all levels of production. Our designers are also very flexible and tend to switch between numerous projects throughout the day depending on the demand. This is a temporary position and will be hybrid between our office in Indianapolis and remote work.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines
• Create conceptual designs that communicate the key ideas effectively
• Carry design projects from concept through completion
• Stay up to date with industry trends
• Ensure design files and working folders are organized consistently
• Demonstrate ability to think creatively
• Adhere to policies and conduct set forth by Live Nation and TourDesign
• Report into office location to work with the team
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• BFA/BA from an accredited university in Graphic Design or Fine Arts preferred
• 3+ years of creative design experience, including proven experience relevant to functional assignments
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to consult effectively with non-designers on projects
• Self-starter attitude, able to think creatively to solve problems
• Strong knowledge and interest in design
• Prior experience working as part of in-house design environments preferred
• Committed to continuous learning and personal development
