THE JOB
Are you a creative organizational expert with a passion for keeping things neat and tidy? Maybe a little OCD over messy files and folders? Well, that's cool with us. Live Nation is looking for a Digital Asset Manager to oversee all things related to digital creative assets, including acquiring, cataloging, trafficking and protecting them. You are our rock n' roll librarian for digital files. But the Digital Asset Manager goes beyond just file management. You must be equally skilled in people, processes, and the technology itself in order to fulfill the role. Our Digital Asset Manager is highly collaborative; working with various venue teams to get things done.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Administer the day-to-day operations of a global enterprise-level DAM system.
• Define, implement, and manage the full life-cycle, archival, and distribution of all digital assets.
• Define, implement, and manage metadata schemas, taxonomies, and user groups.
• Develop workflows for asset ingestion, categorization, permissions management, version control, delivery, and expiration to internal and external users.
• Establish and maintain file-naming conventions and metadata standards across multiple digital asset categories.
• Own the ongoing ingestion, organization, and maintenance of the DAM, ensuring that duplicate, non-compliant, and obsolete files are deprecated in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Creative, Product, Food & Beverage, PR, Content, etc.) to build infrastructure that addresses internal and external digital asset needs.
• Manage rights-management details (internal use only, stock-licensing agreements, talent usage, etc.).
• Support internal and external teams with critical and time-sensitive digital asset acquisition requests.
• Administer and manage internal user account creation, permissions, and perform routine user audits to ensure all users follow internal compliance measures.
• Train and onboard new users to the DAM system and assist with questions from existing users.
• Locate and traffic creative files for stakeholders with various permission levels
• Own and manage the delivery of creative assets and ensure that correct assets are utilized
• Monitor the creation, progress, and usage of assets across both internal and external venue teams.
• Work with partners on Dynamic Creative Optimization initiatives by managing and developing business rules to assist with automated management of assets
• Engage in roadmapping of workflows and processes that leverage automation, helping colleagues to use technology to work smarter
• Understand and protect confidential and sensitive information
• Manage stock photo, video and audio accounts and subscriptions
• Provide excellent customer service, understand the user experience and work hard to make it better.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 3+ years of digital asset management experience working with an enterprise-level DAM system.
• Bachelor's degree in library information science, digital media, or archival studies.
• Experience and clear understanding of metadata schemas and taxonomy development, file-naming conventions, database reporting, DAM governance, and rights management.
• Deep knowledge of image, video, and audio encoding formats and industry best practices.
• Experience in DAM migration and consolidation.
• Experience with Brandfolder and other DAM platforms
• Systems experience and maintenance on cloud storage such as Box and Google Drive
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Asana, Canva, Zoom, Slack, etc.
• Great verbal and written communication skills with experience working across multiple teams and regions.
• Can work independently but knows how to escalate in a solutions-oriented manner.
• Experience educating non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating and partnering with I.T.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to adapt and manage in a fast-paced working environment
