THE JOB
Live Nation is looking for a Motion Design shred-master to support the Venue Nation creative team to bring the concert experience to life visually. Working directly under the Creative Director, you will own projects from concept to completion. From designing new concepts to post production motion and editing, your fingerprint will be all over each project. You will be making trend setting creative that fuels the passion of live music across our social channels, onsite displays, digital campaigns, content outlets, presentations, promotions, marketing initiatives and more.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Work with the Creative Director and creative team members to develop and execute creative concepts for key artwork, digital advertising, presentations, email advertising, social media communication/engagement, outdoor advertising, video advertising spots and original artist/tour/venue content.
• Work symbiotically with Producers, Directors, Designers, Editors to elevate work and push overall company goals.
• Add animation to artwork, titles, creative elements, video and photographs from scratch
• Maintain consistent feel and brand identity across creative content
• Produce innovative concert venue related content and discover the next trends, techniques and creative processes
• Create innovative and viral motion graphics for social channels, digital advertising, outdoor advertising, in-venue displays and original tour content
• Source image and video references for presentations and creative inspiration
• Keep the team informed on innovations in motion design for music, touring, and socials
• Be part of the discussion from the start of each project, rather than only owning the post
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Experience in video motion design, production and editing
• Exceptional sense of pacing and timing
• A solid design eye and ability to create static visuals in addition to motion
• Knowledge and sharp eye for popular culture, trends, and visual aesthetics
• Prior experience in music and / or entertainment industry
• ''Swiss army knife'' creative that can work across each area of production from start to completion
• Ability to to clearly communicate creative direction and bring ideas to life
• Exceptional portfolio of motion design work
• Expert knowledge in social media design
• Familiarity with best practices on different social media channels
• Highly organized and responsible
• Proficiency in graphic design
• Sharp eye for good typography
• Able to juggle multiple projects at once in a fast paced environment
• Can produce excellent work on very tight deadlines
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Proactive work ethic
• Passionate about music and live experiences
• Displays exceptional aptitude with Adobe creative suite
• Expert knowledge in After Effects and other post production software
• Experienced in video editing with Premiere and or Final Cut
• Familiarity with digital workflows, print, video, social media best practices and design specifications
• 3D knowledge a big plus but not necessary
• High level art direction experience in live music entertainment or industry related field
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and other creative applications
• Strong portfolio of previous and current design work
• Ability to learn and efficiently use project management software/tools
