THE JOB
This position requires an experienced paralegal/contracts administrator who will be responsible for supporting a legal team with an array of leases and related documents, commercial contracts, and administrative assistance. The position will be located in Beverly Hills and will provide day-to-day strategic legal support nationally.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Review, summarize and manage critical dates and action items for construction contracts, leases, license agreements, vendor agreements, management and other agreements.
• Work with various internal divisions (e.g., design team, finance, operations, risk management) on contract preparation and post-execution action items and deadlines.
• Prepare and manage an array of contracts (special events, vendor services, personal seat licenses, etc.) using Live Nation templates. Proof-read drafts. Assemble and review exhibits to contracts.
• Manage and review certificates of insurance in conjunction with LN risk management.
• Administrative support with meetings, calls, travel and team needs.
• General legal support.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Paralegal certificate from an accredited school.
• Experience reviewing, drafting and summarizing various commercial contracts.
• Ability to develop practices/guidelines to streamline contract administration.
• Attention to detail in reviewing and preparing contracts.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
• Excellent judgment and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle a high volume of work, and work through projects with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to responsiveness to the field. Desire to partner with business executives to provide solutions.
• Strong analytic skills. Concise writing skills.
• Experience in the entertainment industry helpful.
• Licensed as a California notary helpful.
• Experience in contract/lease administration platforms, legal billing systems, among other legal technology.
