ABOUT THE DANI LEE LANDA LEGACY AWARD
The Dani Lee Landa Legacy Award was established to honor the life and legacy of Dani Lee Landa, CEO and co-founder of Plush Perfect Events, whose vision and leadership left a lasting impact on the live events industry. This inaugural award supports an emerging event professional pursuing a career in the live events industry by providing an immersive, hands-on experience within Live Nation Media & Sponsorship's Experiential team, supporting the Custom Events & Hospitality division. The selected recipient will gain exposure to the planning and execution of live events, brand activations, and hospitality programs while working alongside industry professionals to develop practical experience in event production, client services, and experiential marketing. The opportunity also provides mentorship and professional development designed to reflect Dani Landa's commitment to excellence and to support the next generation of leaders in the events industry.
THE JOB
You will work as part of Media & Sponsorship within Experiential (Custom Events & Hospitality) as a College Associate, helping to execute sponsorship projects with a focus on custom events, festival activations, and hospitality programs.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Support the Experiential Team across all areas of custom event and hospitality production, including design, logistics, research and sourcing, content, budgeting, legal, and marketing
• Assist with event advances, coordinating details and updates with venues and vendors
• Communicate event information across internal departments, partners, and external vendors
• Manage orders and confirm details with catering, rentals, floral, and audiovisual vendors
• Create and maintain event documents such as production books, tracking sheets, event decks, budgets, run of shows, contact lists, staff manuals, safety plans, and floor plans
• Prepare onsite materials, including parking passes, credentials, and catering documents
• Track and reconcile event expenses, receipts, and post-event settlements.
• Manage inventory and supply orders, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment
• Conduct research to support upcoming events, including design concepts, new vendors, and emerging technologies
• Provide onsite assistance and support as assigned
• Perform additional duties and special projects as needed
DANI LEE LANDA LEGACY AWARD
In addition to the responsibilities above, the Dani Lee Landa Legacy Award recipient will:
• Work with a dedicated mentor for the duration of the program
• Engage in curated chats and professional development sessions with leaders across Live Nation
This is an annual opportunity, with the long-term vision of building a growing network of Legacy Award recipients and fostering continued leadership development within the event industry.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Current undergraduate student (Junior or Senior year), graduate student, or recent graduate within the past (1) year
• Experience supporting events, hospitality, experiential marketing, or live entertainment environments
• Detail oriented, organized, and focused
• Ability to communicate professionally and clearly through email & in person
• Motivated and a self-starter
• Ability to travel
• Creativity and outside-the-box thinking
• Must enjoy and work responsibly within live event and festival environments
APPLICATION PROCESS
In addition to the standard application materials required for the College Associate program, selected applicants for the Dani Lee Landa Legacy Award will be asked to submit:
• A brief personal statement (500 words) outlining their interest in the event industry and how this opportunity aligns with their career goals
• A Letter of Recommendation from a professional or academic reference who can speak to the applicant's work ethic, character, and potential within the industry
• Portfolio of supporting materials that demonstrate relevant experience or creative work in events, hospitality, or marketing
