Barista

This is a Full Time Job

THE ROLE:

The Barista will provide exceptional hospitality, quality beverages and products while maintaining a welcoming and comfortable environment. The successful candidate should be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and drink preparation and go the extra mile to make their customer's day with a perfect cup of coffee or beverage.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:
• Prepare and serve high-quality beverages consistently, following established recipe standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar and lounge area, ensuring furniture is arranged and surfaces are tidy.
• Proactively engage with customers to create a positive and memorable experience.
• Keep all areas of the café, lounge, and patio clean and organized for both guests and coworkers.
• Order and manage inventory for coffee bar supplies, ensuring stock is replenished as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock as required.
• Be reliable and flexible, with availability for overtime and last-minute shifts for special events or meetings.
• Perform various tasks such as clearing tables, washing glassware, cleaning and organizing the coffee/condiment station, and taking out trash.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe environment at all times.
• Assist with event-related tasks and other duties as needed.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL BRING:
• The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
• Thrived in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working a flexible schedule when needed.
• 1+ year experience in food service/hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to deliver exceptional hospitality in a personal and professional manner.
• Strong attention to detail and healthy respect for cleanliness.
• Reliable and consistent - Must be available for overtime for special events or meetings.
• Professional behavior and appearance at all times.
• Ability to walk, stand and sit for periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and/or move objects up to 30 pounds.
• Successful completion of Tips Server Training within 30 days of employment

The expected compensation for this position is:
$17.60 USD - $22.00 USD Hourly
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
