The Role:
We are currently seeking a project manager to oversee artist projects/releases at our management company. The ideal candidate is highly-organized, forward-thinking and ambitious. This individual must have a strong passion for the music industry and artist development.
Responsibilities:
-Anticipate needs & make sure all work materials available for a successful workday (ex. agendas for meetings prepared etc.)
-Scheduling related team calls & taking notes. Expected to confirm calls & formulate agendas at least 24 hrs in advance
-Maintaining multiple calendars & compile schedules daily/weekly/travel itineraries as needed
-Send out daily & weekly reminders as needed
-Review and file invoices, update spreadsheets, and payment tracking
-Assist with special projects, research and compiling information as needed
-Assisting Day to Day Managers w/ extensive ongoing projects relating to any of the clients or development of the company as needed
-Effectively coordinate between internal artist teams, including manager, agent, publisher etc.
-Manage release plans and processes, ensuring that all assets and other relevant materials/items are managed and delivered in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
-At least 2 years experience in an artist management or record label setting
-Supreme attention to detail, multi-tasking, and follow-through skills required
-Strong knowledge of the artist management landscape and best practices
-Understanding of and experience with artist development
-Demonstrated high-level relationship building and communication skills
-Must be highly organized and capable of developing and keeping to project timelines
The ideal candidate is:
-A self-driven problem solver and leader
-Technologically savvy
-A people person with the strong interpersonal skills
-An effective communicator on phone, email, and in person
-Resourceful and takes initiative - an expert troubleshooter
-Passionate about the music business, and the future of music
-The right candidate will have a desire to grow within the company and take on more responsibility
