DESCRIPTION:
THE JOB
Live Nation Concerts is seeking a qualified Ticketing Manager to manage ticket operations for its marquee promoted shows in third-party venues. This detail-oriented position requires excellent organizational skills, strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to work efficiently, accurately, and effectively under pressure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing processes, a robust understanding of multiple ticketing systems, strong customer service skills, and a track record of fostering strong working relationships with artist management, senior executives, partners, and clients at all levels of an organization.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Event Management
• This temporary position works full time from September 2, 2025 through Friday, May 31, 2026 and requires extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet key deadlines and respond to on-call needs as assigned.
• Direct and support ticketing providers and festival partners on all operational aspects related to ticketing for Netflix is a Joke Comedy Festival.
• Build festival events on Ticketmaster and 3rd party ticketing system.
• Communicate and oversee the setup of all required offers, inventory requests, festival production and other ticketing information for show builds to venue box offices.
• Provide support and guidance to artist clients and festival personnel when offers are being determined.
• Process internal orders for the festival from agents, artists, labels, and employees.
• Monitor and maintain event inventory and seat holds, hold releases, flex pricing, rescaling and dynamic pricing for the festival.
• Provide ongoing reporting to touring team, Live Nation executives, and festival personnel from the first day of presales through the final event date.
• Communicate regularly with promoters, Ticketmaster staff, Live Nation Ticketing staff, vendors, customers and affiliated parties.
• Collect and analyze inventory data across multiple ticketing platforms.
• QA events across festival to ensure accurate and consistent event information and set-up.
• Adhere to Live Nation ticketing initiatives, programs, policies and procedures.
• Daily on-site support during the festival including overseeing event box office staffing and TM equipment needs.
• Variety of other duties as assigned.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 2-3 years experience as a box office manager or ticketing representative.
• Strong knowledge of Box Office or similar operations.
• Knowledge of ticketing provider software a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to work day, evening and weekend hours, based on the needs of daily business operations.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or comparable work experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide leadership, prioritize, organize, motivate, problem solve, delegate, follow-up, and communicate.
• Must be able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
