Summary of Position
The Lionsgate TV Marketing team is seeking a Marketing and Social Intern. The intern will work directly with Lionsgate TV Marketing to help create and develop content on all social media platforms to attract and engage audiences. They will also learn about entertainment Public Relations, television awards submissions, and sales pitch notes that aid the Worldwide TV Sales & Distribution teams. Experience with social media management, marketing, and google analytics is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
• Develop content calendars on a weekly basis and aiding in developing creative for relevant Lionsgate handles.
• Ideate and strategize social media planning for LGTV handles
• Monitor comments and track posting activity from social platform dashboard to inform strategy moving forward.
• Ensure the necessary approvals are established before posting.
• Communicate with social and PR agencies for all shoots and series key beats
• Use Photoshop to create posts/add logos to Lionsgate assets.
• Ad hoc projects as needed, to include maintaining trackers for social media and awards, ordering and tracking assets for content, etc.
Skills
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, with attention to details
• In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop and social media management tools, such as
• Candidate should be prepared to present a deck on what they learned over the summer, deep diving on social strategy for new verticals without Lionsgate.

Details
• Interns must not work more than 40 hours per week
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
• Graduate students are eligible to apply
• Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
• All internships are paid
• Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office
