Sr. Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

Lionsgate is a leading global entertainment company with a strong and diversified presence in motion picture production and distribution, television programming and syndication, home entertainment, family entertainment, digital distribution, new channel platforms and international distribution and sales.

Lionsgate has an immediate need for an Analyst/Sr. Analyst in the Financial Planning & Analysis department. The position serves a critical role in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, as well as maintaining the company's financial planning and performance management system (BPC 7.5).
RESPONSILIBITIES AND TASKS:

• Maintain Planning Ultimates on a quarterly basis
• Monitor performance indicators for highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial information to management for decision making purposes
• Assist with the analysis of new content acquisitions, special projects, ad hoc analysis and management reporting
• Assist in the preparation of the Home Entertainment Quarterly planning deck
• Provide quantitative and analytical support for corporate planning during the quarterly forecasts/closes
• Produce meaningful financial reporting to both Corporate Planning and Business Units

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS/BA in Finance, Computer Science, or Accounting
• Experience with OLAP analysis tools (BPC, Outlooksoft, Hyperion, etc.) and SAP
• Demonstrated financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and analysis knowledge
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to interact with senior management
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Proficient knowledge of GAAP standards
