This is a Part Time Paid Internship
Summary of Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team for a project focused on conducting a competitive overview and analysis of leading streaming platforms, with a focus on identifying best practices and opportunities that can be applied to STARZ. The intern will work closely with various teams across the organization, including Brand, Creative, Interactive, and Research, to gather insights and develop a comprehensive competitive overview presentation.
Responsibilities
• Conduct research and data collection on leading streaming platforms, including market share, content offerings, user demographics, and marketing strategies.
• Analyze the competitive landscape and identify the unique selling points, content strengths, and weaknesses of each platform.
• Meet with internal teams to gain insights into branding, marketing strategies, user interface, content curation, and user engagement and retention strategies.
• Compile findings into a comprehensive PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation, highlighting best practices and opportunities for STARZ.
• Rehearse and deliver the competitive overview presentation to the team, including senior management.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in business, marketing, communications, media, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in Microsoft Office Suite including: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to work in Google Office including: Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.
Compensation Data
The pay rate for this internship is $18/hr.

Program Dates: Tuesday, June 11th Friday, August 16th, 2024 (10 Weeks)

The Lionsgate and Starz Summer 2024 Internship program dates are: June 11thAugust 16th, 2024.
All interns are required to attend orientation on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024.
Details
• Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
• Graduate students are eligible to apply
• Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
• All internships are paid
• Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office
