Analyst, International Television Sales Planning & Analysis Job Details | Lionsgate
Summary of Position
Lionsgate is currently seeking an Analyst, International Television Sales Planning & Analysis. As an Analyst in International Sales & Distribution you will focus on planning, forecasting and strategy for International Television sales at Lionsgate. This role is key to driving incremental revenue to Lionsgate’s Motion Picture and Television Series segments worldwide. You will also work with Sales, Operations, Accounting, IT and Corporate FP&A teams to streamline information flow and enhance reporting capabilities using Salesforce, SAP and Tableau. The ideal candidate is an analytical and resourceful strategic thinker with high attention to detail.
Responsibilities
• Develop, manage, and analyze territory level and media level reports and trackers to provide key insights and recommendations; perform variance and trend analysis
• Support business operating reviews, enabling discussions about the current and future state of the TV Business
• Support annual business plan process for corporate planning and prepare quarterly re-forecasts
• Work closely with FP&A and Accounting to ensure that actuals are tracking close to forecast and Budget any deviations from forecast or Budget are analyzed, understood and investigated
• Track key title avails to optimize library performance
• Track ultimate performance of library titles
• Perform ad-hoc analysis for upper management
Qualifications and Skills
• 1-3 years of experience working in Television and SVOD Planning
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics or related field
• Have excellent Excel skills including creating financial models
• Must be highly motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Must have interest in Movies and Television of various genres
Nice to Haves
• SAP, Salesforce and Tableau experience a plus
• Entertainment industry experience a plus
