Summary of Position:
Lionsgate is seeking a talented individual to handle a variety of responsibilities relating to the on-screen and advertising credits of its theatrical productions. Job responsibilities include:
• Reviewing contracts and project chain-of-title documents
• Creating credits memos utilized by multiple departments
• Preparing legal drafts of main titles, end crawls and billing blocks
• Interfacing with various guilds to secure waivers and credit approvals
• Reviewing marketing, publicity and promotional materials for contractual and guild compliance
• Handling administrative duties in support of daily operations for the Business & Legal Credits team
Experience & Skills:
The successful candidate will possess the following traits:
• Strong reading comprehension
• Attentive to details
• Strong computer skills (proficient in MS Word and Excel)
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Ability to work proactively and independently
• 1+ years of experience in business/legal affairs (film/TV credits focus preferred)
