Summary of Position
Lionsgate is currently seeking a full-time Associate Publicity Manager to work across Limited Theatrical, Platform Release and catalog films from the largest film and television library in the independent media space. This position will play an integral role in the day to day operations of the Global Publicity team, and work cross-functionally with Lionsgate's Strategy, Media, Social and Creative teams to develop, implement, and optimize integrated PR strategies and workflows.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the home entertainment publicity campaign lead on an as-needed basis
• Manage international publicity efforts across select titles, working closely with the global publicity lead and international publicity team lead
• Oversee and coordinate talent schedules in partnership with the team
• Handle communications and serve as point of contact for designated secondary talent and department heads
• Pitch select digital, national, regional, local and targeted press outlets
• Support digital pitching efforts across assigned outlets in collaboration with the team
• Help oversee targeted and specialty PR agencies on select campaigns based on strategic needs
• Work with the Senior Manager and Assistant to build and manage campaign budgets
• Assist with junket logistics in partnership with internal teams and external junket production partners
• Escort talent to key appearances including but not limited to premieres, junkets, press tours, festivals, award shows, editorial shoots and set visits
• Maintain and update key internal campaign documents including publicity strategies, campaign bibles, decks and schedules, etc. in collaboration with the team
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4 years’ experience in publicity within an agency or studio
• Strong project management and written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• A strong passion for films and filmmaking!
Salary/Benefits
$75,000 - $80,000 /year USD
