Job Title: Personal Assistant to Managing Partner
Position Summary:
The managing partner at a prominent litigation law firm located in Century City, with its focus in the areas of business, entertainment, employment, intellectual property and real estate, is seeking a Personal Assistant that possesses the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain an efficient workflow, often in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions:
• Format, edit, and proof correspondence.
• Draft routine correspondence and emails.
• Manage partner's calendar including, but not limited to, schedule meetings, teleconferences and travel.
• Manage partner's contacts and files.
• Possess excellent bookkeeping skills.
• Complete various offsite tasks.
• Collaborate with other partners and staff within the firm.
Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of two years of general office and assistant experience (legal preferred).
• Possess strong spelling, grammar and punctuation skills.
• Takes initiative and works with limited supervision in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and multi-task at a high-volume desk.
• Excellent word processing skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); emphasis on Excel.
• Ability to work overtime, evenings and weekends, as needed.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree or some college is preferred.
*Position requires five days in-office.
