Lindy Goldstein Productions is seeking a Development Executive to join our team. This person should be a self-starter with enormous passion for film and television. The desired candidate is detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and has a strong desire to learn, grow, and lead. This person should be artist-friendly, know how to prioritize, and be flexible under pressure. This person will work hand-in-hand with the head of the company to grow the content slate. This person should have at least three years of experience in the entertainment industry at an agency/management/production company. The desired candidate should enjoy the creative process, and be interested in innovation within all facets of the entertainment industry.
*While based in Los Angeles, due to Covid-19 restrictions we are working remotely at this time
Responsibilities include:
- Grow the content slate
- Read scripts, provide notes, conduct research, contribute as a member of the team
- Perform some administrative duties in support of developing, producing, and setting up content
- Develop and grow relationships with management companies, literary and talent agencies to find writers/directors/artists/creators/new projects
- Maintain organizational documents, create and update writer/director lists, internal documents and presentations is support of developing, producing and setting up content
- Be a strong brand ambassador and part of building a creative, thoughtful, innovative work culture
