Workplace Requirements: Remote Mondays and Fridays / In-office Tuesdays through Thursday
Industry-leading Los Angeles-based unscripted production company, Lighthearted Entertainment, is looking for an intern for Winter/Spring 2023.
With hit shows like OWN's ''Ready to Love'' and ''Put a Ring On It'', MTV's ''Are You The One?'' and VH1's ''Dating Naked'', Lighthearted is consistently making waves in reality television and digital platforms. We're looking for smart, talented, hard-working individuals who are interested in acquiring hands-on experience in all facets of unscripted television development. This is an unpaid, hybrid in-office (North Hollywood, CA)/remote internship and candidates must be eligible to receive college credit and be able to commit to working at least 3 days a week.
This development intern position includes day-to-day duties such as heavy research in all areas, transcribing interviews, gathering creative materials for sales reels (picking out appropriate music, clips, etc.), pre-casting potential talent for shows (including emailing, internet outreach or cold calling), the opportunity to come up with your own show ideas and assist in group meetings and idea generating. You will also be assigned your own semester-wide project allowing you to create, write and pitch your own show.
If you have background in TV production, creative writing, graphic design, editing and research, this internship will help hone your skillset. If you love reality television and have a ''no job is too big or too small'' attitude, this is the internship for you!
