Job Scope:
Director of Business Development / Sales based in New York office. Develop and execute on a strategy to increase the caliber of the Company's New York clients and to increase overall volume across all offices. Collaborate with the Company's nationwide sales team and clients, with the goal of launching new services at the Company's growing facility. Utilize current relationships to grow Light Iron's client roster. Promote cross-selling initiative with Panavision New York and elsewhere. Remain in constant contact with sales team & senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute on a process for growing Company market-share; understand competitor landscape and use that knowledge to generate opportunities
• Report on new talent in the local area and foster relationships for revenue opportunities
• Increase the quantity of bids submitted for consideration
• Increase average revenue per project. Review billing practices and methodology
• Increase annual project volume. Special attention toward growing dailies processing division as well as screening services and remote color correction services
• Establish lead generation + bidding process to enable appropriate collaboration and cross-selling (i.e., with each other and with Panavision); ensure that all relevant parties are aware of opportunity and that employee with strongest relationship is representing the company
• Coordinate with Head of NBD and NY GM to develop best practices for client services protocols, facility amenities, tours for prospective clients, and other client ''touch points''
• Create and grow relationships to win business
• Act as resource for clients who need to speak about technical workflows and project management
• Collaborate with Head of NBD to establish annual divisional revenue targets and offer constant feedback necessary for re-calibration
• Keep Sr. Management apprised of developments, potential issues, areas needing improvement
• Act as the sales face of the Company within the New York market; attend and host events
Skills/Experience Required:
• 5+ year post production industry experience and related working practices
• Understand and be able to detail leading industry workflow practices
• Previous experience with: Post Production producing, scheduling and customer service
