Human Resources Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator is the site HR point of contact for our Houston office, reporting to the Corporate VP of Human Resources, and responsible for all human resource administrative activities. This position will assist in the planning and execution of HR corporate initiatives and also be responsible for office management/administration functions as well.
Responsibilities:
• Serves as primary point of contact for employees on HR policies and practices, health benefits, workers compensation, recruitment process, time off policies and employee relations issues.
• Maintain, track and compile required data for FCC EEO and EEO-1 compliance reports.
• Assist hiring managers and Corporate HR Department with recruitment process, including assisting with job descriptions, posting and tracking job postings, and coordinating and attending job fairs and community outreach programs.
• Process all new hire information, changes and benefits enrollment data into HR system.
• Onboard new hires/conduct exit interviews for departing employees.
• Ensure compliance of all company, federal and state policies.
• Generate weekly, monthly and annual metric reports as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Human Resources preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years HR experience.
• Knowledge or understanding of benefit insurance and HRIS systems a plus (ADP WorkforceNow).
• Bi-lingual: English and Spanish required.
• Strong MS Office skills including Excel and Word.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Houston, TX
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background investigation
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
• Must be willing to work overtime, holiday or weekends on short notice
• Must be 18 years or older.
