Estrella TV Camera & Equipment Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Camera & Equipment Coordinator will set up/break down, maintenance and repair of all Studio, Production and Field equipment in our Dallas facilities. The Coordinator will provide exemplary service by repairing and servicing equipment in a timely and quality controlled manner.
Responsibilities:
• Test, clean, maintain and repair broadcast equipment, including cameras, lighting lamps, IFB/microphones, etc.
• Must be able to manually and electronically test cameras and broadcast equipment.
• Inventory, track, order and manage all equipment from delivery of new equipment, repair and return, loan out and storage.
• Create logs and planned preventive maintenance schedule for equipment.
• Timely and accurately set up/break down equipment for multiple productions.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to ensure chronic problems or defects are identified and repairs are made.
• Provides excellent service by quickly responding to maintenance calls and addressing all issue promptly.
Requirements:
• Understanding and familiarity with operation of Studio Production gear including camera and lighting equipment, or the ability to quickly learn equipment operation.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish.
• Basic understanding of MS Office Products: MS Word and Windows environment.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull install, manipulate or position up to 50 pounds of equipment with hands and fingers.
• Must be visually able to see distant or close up objects; must have color and peripheral vision, depth perspective and ability to adjust focus.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High School degree required; college degree in communications or related filed preferred; in the process of pursuing a degree, or minimum 2 years related experience.

Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Dallas, TX.
• Must be willing to work long hours, holidays and weekends on short notice.
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background investigation
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
