Accounting Manager

Position Summary:
We are searching for a Account Manager to support our Accounting Team.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the accounting functions of the Estrella TV and Radio Stations including billing, and accounts receivable.
• Accurately document all information pertaining to accounts.
• Manage collections for all existing customers and new customers.
• Review, process and verify accounts and account balances.
• Interacting with clients in order to resolve outstanding account balances and assist with payment plan set-ups.
• Following up with clients on payment arrangements.
• Prepare month ends close journal entries and supporting schedules/analysis.
• The Accounting Manager is responsible for receivable and collections for multiple Radio and TV stations . This person will also be responsible for monthly closing tasks, accounts receivable reconciliation and adjustments.
• Assure compliance with company policies and procedures and perform accounting and reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• To develop and maintain effective working relationship when performing assigned responsibilities.
• Facilitate and complete daily cash audits and daily cash reporting.
• Call delinquent accounts to maximize cash collections and timely application of cash receipts (including wires loose deposits and credit card payments).
• To function effectively as a catalyst in helping management achieve its goal and objectives.
• Make recommendations to management of accounts needing additional attention.
• Manage collections for all existing customers and new customers.
• May assist other related departments as required by business needs.
• Work with sales team to ensure facilitating the acceptance of new orders.

Requirements:
• Strong, dependable and responsible with a professional demeanor and who is detail-oriented and well-organized.
• Ability to negotiate with clients
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook and other standard office programs); and the ability to multi-task. Excellent organizational are essential.
• Use basic math to solve problems
• Communicate clearly, concisely and affectively both verbally and written in English and Spanish.
• Experience thinking critically about systems and workflow, and identifying needs for development.
• Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Attention to detail, organized and thorough, with desire for continuous improvement.
• Must be able to maintain a regular 8-hour shift five days per week. Shift may vary during end of month .
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines and work under pressure.



Eligibility Requirements:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must.
• Must have a minimum of at least 2 years of accounts receivable and Collections experience
• Must be willing to work in Dallas, TX.
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background investigation
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to lift over 20lbs
• Must be 18 years or older
