Intern - Phone Screener & Social Media Specialist

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Lembeck Productions is producing a weekly podcast called Your Weekly Dose, that pays homage to the famed Los Angeles Mark & Brian Show that aired on KLOS radio for 25 years. We are currently looking for an intern who can perform several duties. You will be the shows social media adviser, call screener and assistant to the main host. The show is done live every Saturday mornings. Show prep meetings start at 9am, show starts at 10am and post meeting are right after show. You will also have opportunities to on air to be part of shows skits, outings and other official business.

Responsibilities/General Duties
• Research information and media contacts; maintain databases
• Maintaining, updating and distribute press kits & bios
• Screen phone calls while on air
• Sit in on meetings, record notes and participate in brainstorm sessions
• Assist with and attend special events including photo shoots or offsite meetings ( escorting talent, facilitating green rooms, getting release forms signed, etc)
• Update agency/client contact lists
• Preparation of questions for Quiz Me, Quiz You segment
• Ability to interact with executives, celebrities and vendors confidently and professionally

Social Media
• Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks during show and off air times.
• Online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Twitter, and more
