Legendary Digital Networks ''LDN'' is looking for a VP of Sales and Partnerships to be based in Burbank, CA. This position reports to the EVP, Business Development at the corporate headquarters in Burbank, CA and will be primarily responsible to grow and maximize revenue for LDN through direct and indirect advertising and branded content sales and to contribute to business strategy and operational efficiencies to help drive revenue and improve profit margin across all LDN businesses including: Nerdist, Geek & Sundry, Amy Poehler's Smart Girls.
Oversee and manage a sales team of six team members.
Collaborate with executive team and others to develop business strategy that help drive revenue
and business in general.
Maintain and develop client relationships at all levels across brands direct and their respective
Develop and improve upon cross-company processes around creative brainstorming, media, video
integration, custom video production, event activations, and other activities that are part of brand
campaigns (pre-& post sale).
Build advertising packages that help maximize margin, while delivering premium opportunities and
value to clients.
Create and maintain all pitch decks and sales materials for proactive pitches and RFPs.
Ensure that all campaigns are executed flawlessly, and that client-service and the delivery of the end
product is truly premium.
Engage in trade opportunities that help elevate LDN properties and educate the
advertising/marketing market on the benefits of LDN partnerships.
Network with other leaders in sales organizations to gain learnings and implement successful
Competitive research and intelligence within LDN competitive set.
Meet and exceed annual sales revenue goals.
7+ years of digital media sales experience.
College degree required.
Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience managing and motivating a sales team.
Prior experience selling and executing on highly customized campaigns across multiple platforms.
Highly self-motivated with a track record of meeting/ exceeding sales goals.
Solid relationships with both agencies and clients direct.
Strong presentation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and flourish in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to collaborate, brainstorm and work with team to develop creative solutions that address client's needs.
