Position Title: Intern, Franchise Management - Summer 2026
Location: Burbank, CA
Reporting to: Sr. Coordinator, Franchise Management
Application Window: March 2, 2026 - March 20, 2026
Program Dates: June 8, 2026 - August 14, 2026
Our part-time, paid internship program provides hands-on experience in a dynamic, innovative environment within the entertainment industry. Interns can work up to 29 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments. Participants will engage in real projects, gaining practical industry insights while developing professional skills through workshops and career-building sessions. The program also features guest speaker events with industry experts, networking opportunities with professionals and fellow interns.
Summary
Legendary is currently seeking an intern to assist its fast-paced Franchise Management department. The internship will give you first-hand experience on how the development of products, partnerships, and promotions work within a studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Franchise Management, Entertainment Marketing, and be pursuing (or recently graduated with) an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Graphic Design and/or related field.
Responsibilities
• Design/assemble pitch decks, product mockups, and documents.
• Facilitate note taking during all creative review meetings.
• Participate in group brainstorm sessions with the creative and social marketing teams.
• Assist in marketing research for Film & TV projects in development.
• May attend and work during off-site screenings/events if necessary.
• Organize inventory of physical assets and product samples.
Requirements
• Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (Fall/Spring) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months
• A GPA of 3.5 or above is highly preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Excel, and general Microsoft Office applications
• Candidates may be required to submit portfolio examples of their design work as they progress through the interview process
