Summary
Legendary Entertainment is seeking a Manager, Production Accountant for Television to handle the prep, wrap and ongoing maintenance of our pilots and series. The position assists the Director, Production Finance and reports directly to the EVP, TV Production Finance. The ideal candidate will be experienced in television episodic scripted series production accounting.
Responsibilities
• Prep and Wrap of Pilots and Series
• Including Processing Accounts Payable, Journal Entries, Petty Cash, Payroll, P-Cards
• Assist with Cost Reports for shows in prep/wrap
• Track and request funding as needed
• Handle weekly closes, run weekly reports and post to SceneChronize
• Prepare and send documents to Optimis for scanning
• Research and Analysis as needed
• Pull documentation needed for audits
• Assist Director and other team members as requested
• Other tasks as requested
Experience & Skills
• 2-3 Years’ Experience as First Assistant on One Hour Scripted TV projects required
• Multi-Currency show experience preferred
• V5 and Digital Workflow product experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• CASHet, SceneChronize and Optimis experience preferred
• Must be able to seamlessly move across multiple projects
• Team player with great attitude
• Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills required
