Position Title: Manager, Film Post Production
Location: Burbank, CA (Hybrid)
Reporting To: SVP, Film Post Production

Summary
Legendary Entertainment is looking to hire a Post Production Manager who will support the daily operations of the Film Post Production department. This position will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously in various stages of production and post. The ideal candidate will be passionate about evolving technologies and would determine how to incorporate them into production and post production workflows.
Responsibilities
• Manage and support the Post teams from the start of production through delivery.
• Support Post Supervisors and Editorial Crews.
• Help plan, provide, manage, and track all needed services required for final, edited content including editing, sound, and other specialized support.
• Oversee final deliverables for Theatrical and/or Streaming on each project.
• Collect and complete Wrap Binders for each show.
• Create and maintain Post Schedules and distribute.
• Acquire bids from Vendors that fit within budget. Work with Vendors to set up AVIDs and Equipment for Editorial. Manage PO’s, invoices, and update bids with current information.
• Support and set up in-house editing and screening facilities at Legendary and on location. Work with Legendary Security to help vet new facilities and WFH Editorial.
• Attend QC approvals when show is delivering to distributor and Legendary East.
• Manage screening requests and approvals, in-house and off-site. Assist in setting up and attending Preview screenings. Set up screenings outside of Legendary (NDAs, Security, Content Delivery, KDMs, Technical Specifications, Tech Memos). Coordinate screenings with Creative, Marketing, Production, Post, and Shows. Maintain tracker of all screenings and attendees. Run internal screenings and playbacks.
• Work with VP, Post Technology on technical upgrades to screening rooms. Manages the bids for room upgrades and communicates with Vendors.
• Work with Post teams to provide files as needed – documents or audiovisual materials. Help with drive management, providing when requested/needed and keeping track of those drives until they are returned.
• Set up PIX projects for each show and act as PIX Gatekeeper.
• Assist and guide Editorial through wrap on each show.
• Assist with Dailies Tech Specs and Dailies Workflows.
• Assist with Final Mixes to keep on time and on budget.
• Assist in weekly Cost Report meetings.
• Assist with post manual creation and upkeep.
• Special duties as required.
Experience & Skills
• 5 years hands-on experience in feature film post production, along with a passion for film
• Trade school degree or certification; Bachelor’s degree in related field; or equivalent work experience
• Familiar with current trends and workflows, including 4K and HDR, as well as an eagerness to learn new technologies
• Knowledgeable of PIX, AVID, Box, and Filesharing (Sohonet, Aspera, and Filerunner) and other post production equipment and software
• Experience in managing and understanding budgets
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in various stages of production and post
• Must be able to exercise good judgment, initiative and follow-through as this is a demanding and fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Flexibility for occasional travel, as needed
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office
