Position Title: Intern, Franchise Management & Licensing – Fall 2024
Location: Burbank, CA
Reporting to: Coordinator, Franchise Management
Application Window: June 11, 2024 - June 28, 2024
Program Dates: September 16, 2024 - November 27, 2024
Hourly Pay Rate Range: $16.00 - $18.00
Summary
Legendary is currently seeking an intern to assist its fast-paced Franchise Management & Licensing department. The internship will give you first-hand experience on how the development of products, partnerships, and promotions work within a studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Franchise Management, Entertainment Marketing, and be pursuing (or recently graduated with) an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Graphic Design and/or related field. In addition to working closely with the executives and members of the team, interns will have the opportunity to attend guest speaker sessions, networking events and screenings. This is a paid internship.
Responsibilities
• Design/assemble pitch decks, product mockups, and documents
• Facilitate notetaking during all creative review meetings
• Participate in group brainstorm sessions with the creative and social marketing teams
• Assist in marketing research for Film & TV projects in development
• May attend and work during off-site screenings/events if necessary
• Organize inventory of physical assets and product samples
Requirements
• Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/summer) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months
• A GPA of 3.5 or above is highly preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Excel, and general Microsoft Office applications
• Candidates are also encouraged to submit portfolio examples of their design work
