Position Title: Grad Intern, Corporate Business Development - Fall 2026
Location: Burbank, CA
Reporting to: EVP, Operations & Corporate Development
Application Window: July 6, 2026 - July 17, 2026
Program Dates: September 14, 2026 - November 20, 2026
Our part-time, paid internship program provides hands-on experience in a dynamic, innovative environment within the entertainment industry. Interns can work up to 29 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments. Participants will engage in real projects, gaining practical industry insights while developing professional skills through workshops and career-building sessions. The program also features guest speaker events with industry experts, networking opportunities with professionals and fellow interns, and exclusive perks such as company outings, team-building activities, and access to film and media screenings.
Summary
Legendary is looking for an intern to assist the Corporate Business Development team. This internship will give you firsthand experience in evaluating new business opportunities, joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions for the company.
In addition, the intern will work closely with the executives and members of the team.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with the EVP, Operations & Corporate Business Development on strategic projects.
• Perform research and analysis to address current competitive and financial markets, as well as potential new business concepts/models.
• Develop detailed financial models for potential transactions, performing due diligence, preparing presentations for senior management, and coordinating with senior executives to support and execute transactions.
• Participate in special projects to gain additional exposure outside of immediate department.
Requirements
• Must be enrolled in a Masters/MBA program at a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (Spring/Summer) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months
• A GPA of 3.5 or above is highly preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• An understanding of financial principles/techniques of financial analysis
• Basic understanding of accounting rules and financial statements
• Ability to draw well-integrated conclusions from insights and analyses
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
