Position Overview:
Legendary Motion Picture Production Company is currently seeking a Production Finance Coordinator who supports the television finance team in various capacities for multiple shows in production reporting directly to the SVP of Production Finance. This position will perform both administrative and finance support functions.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to SVP, Production Finance handling phones & scheduling meetings
• Process weekly production funding & wire payments (both domestic & foreign)
• Handle A/P data entry, petty cash entry and posting, bank reconciliations, maintain filing with Optimis and keep records of all financial documents
• Perform tasks including, but not limited to: stop payment requests, pre-production AP & payroll, p-card reconciliation and administration of bank accounts
• Serve as point of contact to freelance accountants regarding general company procedures; this includes, show set up, on-boarding, and implementing studio policies
• Process all payments for Development such as Options, Extensions, Overalls, First Look Deals etc.
• Maintain Entity and Bank Tracking sheets, track and assign new projects in Vista
• Provide administrative support, but not limited to: code and submit invoices, handle FedEx and shipping, organize all travel needs and arrangements for the TV Finance department
• Assist Executive and TV Finance team with various projects as needed
Experience & Skills:
• Experience with the following Finance systems: Microsoft Office, Vista 5, AP/PO Entry, P-Card Auditing, Cashet, InterOptimis, EP Payroll, SmartTime, SmartStart, Scenechronize
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word
• Experience with V5, SceneChronize, and Optimis preferred
Qualifications:
• Production Accounting experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
