Company Description
Leftbrain is a fast-growing, tech-enabled firm revolutionizing the way that musicians (and their teams) manage their finances.
The old model of money management for the music industry is broken. We know this because we have lived it. Founded by an artist manager and finance executive, we have come together to create a revolutionary new model that puts the financial information where it belongs: back into the hands of the musicians.
However, technology can only get us so far. We have a core team of left-brained individuals, known within the industry as business managers, to help fill in the gaps.
These business managers are experienced accountants trained in the music industry with a heavy focus on customer service. They work hand-in-hand with our clients and utilize custom-built technology to drive value and improve the overall customer experience.

Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Accountant who will serve as an Assistant Business Manager for musicians, songwriters, and producers. The chosen candidate will play an integral role at Leftbrain.
You will report directly to the CEO and take over many client-facing responsibilities, ranging from onboarding clients to managing client relations, inquiries, and emergencies. You will also take over a great deal of accounting and finance related projects. Being a small and fast-growing company, the scope of your work will be quite broad.
Throughout your projects you'll receive support from a small, yet experienced team with decades of experience in the music industry. This is an opportunity to join an extremely fast-growing firm that is rewriting a business model at its beginning stages and learn first-hand from experts in the industry.
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, insatiably curious, and specifically wants to work in the music industry. We are not your father's accounting firm. We are driving the entire industry forward and growing at a pace none of our competition has ever seen. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor with near limitless upside. We value ability and drive over tenure.

We are a purely remote office, but the chosen candidate must live in the Greater Los Angeles area. Relocation packages are not available for this position.
