Position Summary:
The Talent Coordinator position at Estrella TV is an entry-level position that can get you started on the path to a career in television production. We are looking for people who are good at multi-tasking with a knack for organization and a flair for the creative, who thrive in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintaining and updating the ''master calendar'' of all show's activities and all scheduled events, and updates it continuously from multiple sources.
• Handles all details of booking talent for guest appearances on television programs; works closely with the talent's agent or manager.
• Stays on top of all scheduling details: obtains all necessary internal approvals and signatures on memos, deal terms and contracts, distributes copies to the appropriate departmental personnel; responds to all talent requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinates hotel and transportation arrangements for talent with in house Travel Department, including ensuring all travel booking policies are followed.
• Coordinates with internal security for crowd control and talent safety.
• Perform other tasks as directed by Manager.
Requirements:
• Thrive in a fast paced environment, meet tight deadlines and can handle numerous requests at once without becoming flustered or overwhelmed.
• Excellent organizational skills, detailed oriented, positive work ethic, and the ability to prioritize activities and duties based on importance for the Company.
• Strong computer experience (must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint); adept at maintaining databases and documents.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with everyone from or stage crews to the highest profile talent and agents, all with the proper level of respect and professionalism.
• Problem solving skills with the ability foresee and prevent problems from occurring (if possible) and to troubleshoot and resolve issues if problems arise.
• Bilingual fluency is mandatory: Must have ability to read, write and speak both English/Spanish.
• Bachelor degree preferred and/or minimum 1 year experience in booking or event planning for high profile talent.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Burbank, CA [no relocations]
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background investigation
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
• Must be willing to work overtime, holiday or weekends on short notice
• Must be 18 years or older
• May periodically be required to lift (up to 10lbs)
• Must possess a valid CA Driver's License with good driving record
