Intern - Social Media Content Creator

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Laughing Buddha Comedy is NYC's largest producer of independent comedy shows, open mics, and home to a nationally recognized comedy school. We are seeking highly motivated content creation Intern to help us with our fall campaign which includes new projects as we expand into digital content, i.e., traveling or cooking videos intertwined with stand up and comedy. Candidates must have a resume that includes prolific posting on either TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc. You will have access to exclusive comedy shows, work behind-the-scenes with our Director and Booker, yet still have the freedom to create.

Candidates should be highly motivated and used to creating on their own, be familiar with hashtags, tagging, reposting, and all tricks and tools required to build a following.

We are seeking hires for our Fall semester beginning the first week in September through mid-December/holiday season, approximately two half days, 8 to 10 hours a week. This may include attending our shows and open mics at night in Manhattan or Brooklyn or attending workshops in midtown.

*Please note this is a business position, we are not looking for performers and you must reside in the New York City area. Our open mics and shows featured uncensored content so you must be able to immerse yourself in that environment without prejudice.

Salary: Unpaid P/T Internship, attending free comedy shows.
