Larry Levinson Productions is seeking an organized, self-motivated Manager, Development to work with the busy development team on a high volume of television movies. Successful candidates will be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously in various stages of development.
Key responsibilities include:
• Evaluate the quality of scripts and offer creative feedback.
• Track writers and directors.
• Work with casting to create appropriate casting lists for each role.
• Seek out and assess scripts, novels and pitches.
• Coach and work with writers to develop stories and scripts.
• Support all creative aspects of development, production and post-production.
• Serve as a liaison between the development team and all other departments including Casting, Production, Marketing, Press, Research, Corporate, Network, and Business and Legal Affairs.
Must have:
• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 2+ years experience working in a scripted development department at a network or production company.
• Above average Final Draft and Outlook experience.
