A boutique independent production company is looking for a Post Production Coordinator to help facilitate the day-to-day operations of our post-production team. The Post Production Coordinator will also handle some in-office production duties. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a good sense of judgment and a strong ability to ask prudent questions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently and capable of handling multiple responsibilities. Please note, that this position is in-person.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a Post Production schedule and promptly communicate changes.
- Balance workflow changes when new projects arise.
- Ensure all online file-sharing information is organized, accurate and up to date.
- Ensure all content tracking information is accurate and current.
- Liaise between various departments, including field team, post/editorial team
- Produce show deliverables that are 100% accurate.
- Submit cuts for legal review and correspond with E&O team.
- Research and book the travel/hotel needs for production.
- Coordinate shipping of supplies to field teams.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience working in post production environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to research and distill large amounts of information.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks well under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work well collaboratively and independently as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong creative writing skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to exercise a high level of discretion in handling confidential information.
- Demonstrated professionalism and good judgment in all interactions with colleagues and industry professionals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Zoom, and Slack
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
Preferred Experience:
- Strong proficiency in AirTable and Microsoft Teams
- Post Production experience
- Documentary and/or television production experience?
