The Festival Coordinator will be responsible for the pre-production, production and post-production of the film festival in July.
The Festival Coordinator position is contracted for an 8-week period starting in June through July.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
o Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be detail-oriented
o Coordinate special events, parties, and industry sessions
o Filmmaker, industry, media correspondences
Festival Production
o Communicate/coordinate with the venue manager to ensure film programs screen on schedule
o On-site setup logistics
o Box-Office - ticketing
o Filmmaker, Media Check-in
o Filmmaker correspondences
o Volunteers - train and delegate tasks
o Assist with social media, publicity
Minimum Requirements
• Leadership experience with strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of the film industry
• Energetic, enthusiastic and responsible
