Seeking an Administrative Assistant to the Sr Vice President of Creative as we open an Atlanta Office of Kobalt Music Group.
Company: Kobalt Music Group is the leading global independent music publisher and service-based music company offering unparalleled transparency, online copyright administration and royalty tracking, label services, neighbouring rights management, creative and synch/licensing services, weekly online balances, digital collections and advances to writers, publishers, performers and other rights holders.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist SVP in establishing an Atlanta office of Kobalt Music Group, including securing and organizing office space and building Kobalt's presence in the Atlanta music scene.
- Research Music Databases
- Set up and managing music files
- Correspond and follow up with clients
- Input client data into the company systems
- Write and respond to emails, transcribe notes, fax, copy and create spreadsheets and/or print documents
- Responsible for creating a great first impression for our guests on the phone and in person
- Warmly greet and assist visitors, direct incoming calls, assist the global creative team and executives, and help with general office administrative duties.
- Act as Office manager dealing with all matters related to the office space including maintaining and ordering supplies and equipment, dealing with building management, etc.
Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree required
*Based and has lived in Atlanta Georgia for at least 5 plus years
*Able to manage administrative duties, as well as higher level office management responsibilities.
*At least 3 years of experience with a Performance Rights Organization, entertainment law or music management firm or TV and Film company
*Ability to adeptly handle administrative matters including screening calls, managing calendars, planning meetings, making travel arrangements, composing documents and organizing offices for efficiency.
*Interact professionally with all levels of staff and maintain the highest level of confidentiality; known for tact and diplomacy in handling sensitive issues
*Have a broad sense of entertainment knowledge and healthy appreciation for all genres of music.
*Ability to multi-task and switch gears quickly and help where needed.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, Gmail and ITunes operations
*Must be outgoing, with strong written and verbal communication skills
*Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently as well as within a satellite team environment
*Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
*Experience filing expense reports
