This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn is seeking interns to begin working at our location in Williamsburg 2-3 days a week. We are ideally looking for someone to begin in November and continue through the Spring, but are also open to Springs semester only from January-May. The person should have an interest in music, PR and marketing.
Description:
Assisting with marketing upcoming events, shows, and concerts
Assisting with creating press releases, press lists, submitting event listings
Street teaming- putting up posters around Brooklyn for upcoming shows
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Drop Box and Google Drive
Knowledge of Social Media platforms
Some graphic design knowledge (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator)
Must be at the venue at least 2 days a week
Free tickets to all shows at Knitting Factory BK, college credit if needed
