Independent film distributor Kino Lorber, Inc. is seeking a full-time Director of Theatrical Marketing. The ideal candidate should be creative, outgoing, and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. This is a multifaceted position which requires self-motivation and an eagerness to take on a variety of projects.

Through its varied group of labels, Kino Lorber, Inc. offers the best in contemporary, classic and documentary films. With a library of more than 1,500 titles, Kino Lorber, Inc. releases over 25 films per year theatrically under its Kino Lorber, Kino Classics and Alive Mind Cinema banners. Moreover, the company brings over 60 new titles per year to the home entertainment market through Blu-ray, DVD and digital distribution on Internet platforms and VOD services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):
• Collaborate with theatrical team on market positioning of new titles.
• Oversee audience engagement efforts (aka grassroots outreach) either directly or by managing outside service providers.
• Manage and update the company's internal outreach database.
• Support Kino Lorber releases on multiple social media platforms.
• Coordinate Talent Travel and Public Appearances.
• Manage time-sensitive print ad placements via outside agency.
• Select and maintain quote sheets.
• Create collateral marketing materials including print ads, pull clips, postcards and social media assets.
• Post marketing materials to KL website.
• Assist in year-end award campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
• Three year's minimum experience in film marketing.
• Knowledge of Mac OS, Microsoft Office required; Photoshop strongly preferred; Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut 10 a plus.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
• Must be able to efficiently prioritize and multitask in fast-paced environment.
