Job Description: Television Production Company seeks dedicated interns who desire to learn all facets of unscripted television, from the development to casting, and the production process.
About the Internship:
Students will have the opportunity to learn the casting, research, and development process of unscripted television programming, and become acquainted with the digital and social media platforms that are integral to a television show's promotion, creation, and longevity.
Interns will have the opportunity to contribute creatively by pitching potential characters and show concepts after learning what makes a good alternative format and recognizing good characters from a variety of sources.
The internship takes place in an office environment and is primarily research based so students should be familiar with popular news and networking sites and have a general knowledge of, and passion for unscripted television.
This internship is unpaid and only available to those who can receive college credit.
From game shows and docu-series, to hidden camera prank shows and character dramas, alternative programming spans a wide variety of genres. But at the core of every good show are the characters we love, love to hate, and hate to adore.
